This was a special find that we were very thankful to get when we did back in 2014. We received a high-end gift from another source shortly afterward and it was this brand, but one grade lower! This is gongmei level tea and is very fragrant. It steeps up thick and delicious for countless infusions and is even better if you have the ability to simmer it for a period of time. In the Fuding area, there is an old saying about the white tea: it is tea in the beginning and will turn into medicine in three years. After seven years, it becomes a treasure. This tea cake was made in 2014.
